“He has an eye for things a lot of other realtors would miss.”

Working with Mark was a pleasure. We were coming from the Bay Area to South Lake Tahoe, and didn’t really know much about the area. Mark worked with us over phone and email to find out exactly what we were after, and planned a day of 13 properties that we could see.

One thing I specifically noticed, while driving between properties, Mark made it very easy to follow his car. He was aware of us at all times and pulled over if we fell behind on a turn or a traffic light. When viewing homes, he was honest, not pushy at all, and shared information not only about the house, but the area as well. As someone who was not local, this was very helpful. Mark was also able to provide some in-depth information on what to watch out for – with his background in construction, he has an eye for things a lot of other realtors would miss, e.g. foundation condition, roofing, etc. Also very helpful.

When we decided on a house, he helped us put together a competitive offer, which was accepted! He did the vast majority of the legwork here, and all we had to do was provide a couple of documents, discuss the numbers over the phone, and sign the offer.

During (and after!!) the closing process, Mark continued to help with everything – organizing inspections, handling contingencies, and he even lightened our loan-related workload by providing our loan officer all the information he already had from us. Mark also organized re-keying, cleaning, asbestos testing, and gave us contacts for any service contractor we could ask for (fence, hot tub, electrical, plumbing, etc). Even after closing he continues to support us.

I’ve worked with a few realtors before, and Mark is BY FAR the most competent and pleasant to work with. Would recommend 100% without a second thought.
